September 2010 represents a significant redesign of the ConsultantRegistry.Org website
Improvements
- New layout & styling - Website design takes advantage of larger monitor real estate.
- Improved member type handling - CRO was originally designed to support consultants, so the old website did not manage end-users, manufacturers & integrators very well. This new site architecture allows much greater collaboration and information sharing.
- Access to website content can now be easily managed differentiated by member type. For example Special offers & information pertaining only to integrators will not be shown and clutter our consultant member experience.
- Improved message handling - As before, confirmed consultants can send converse with any member other member without limitation. Now integrators, manufacturers and guests can send a limited number of messages to anyone but can respond without limitation. This is similar to how LinkedIn keeps spam to a minimum.)
- Easier signup - New members will appreciate the streamlined sign up since they no longer have to build their profile during sign up.

New Additions
- Discussion Groups - Initially, this area will be released for collaboration by CRO Committee Members and later be expanded as important topics and additional moderators are identified.

- Members can comment on resource pages & highlight pages they like
